Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Sumatera Utara through 4 (four) entrances in January 2024 reached 14,851 visits, while in December 2024 there were 18,440 foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara.

For the January 2024 period, the number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara increased by 4.98 percent when compared to the same period in 2023, namely from 14,146 visits in January 2023, increasing to 14,851 visits in January 2024.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Sumatera Utara in January 2024 averaged 44.80 percent, or down 8.96 points compared to December 2023 of 53.76 percent.

The average length of stay for foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star-rated hotels was 1.28 days during January 2024, down 0.11 points compared to December 2023 of 1.39 days.
