Abstract

The number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara through 4 (four) entrances in July 2022 reached 7,518 visits, while in June 2022 there were 5,165 foreign tourists who came to visit in Sumatera Utara.
In the July 2022 period, the number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara increased by 26,750.00 percent compared to the same period in 2021, from 28 visits in July 2021 to 7,518 visits in July 2022.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Sumatera Utara in July 2022 was an average of 48.74 percent, or an increase of 4.56 points compared to June 2022 of 44.18 percent.
The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star hotels was 1.33 days during July 2022, down 0.03 points compared to June 2022.
The number of domestic passengers departing from Sumatera Utara via Kualanamu International Airport during July 2022 was 262,339 people, an increase of 20.84 percent compared to June 2022 which was recorded at 217,092.
The number of inter-island sea transport passengers (domestic) departing during July 2022 was recorded at 11,172 people, an increase of 19.68 percent compared to the previous month of 9,335 people.
